The Colliers

Set in Tonypandy, The Colliers will be opened in the summer of 2022 as a Supported Living (Stage 3) service. The building used to be know as The Colliers Arms is an ex pub that is routed in the towns history.

It includes 8 brand newly refurbished self-contained flats with an office for 24 hour staffing on site. It also has a purpose built medication room and managers office. A spacious communal area next to the staff facilities will bring a community like environment to this service.

The Colliers is located just a short walk away from the centre of Tonypandy where shops, cafes, restaurants and pharmacies can be accessed. For an extended range of amenities, The Colliers is a short bus ride from Pontypridd town centre.

All flats have a fully fitted kitchen area with cooker, fridge and washing machine. In addition, they all have a large sitting area, double bedroom and tiled wet room with showers.

Coming under stage 3 of our recovery pathway, individuals are responsible for their own tenancy agreements, bills and finances, providing them with further independence and responsibility whilst still benefitting from having access to a member of staff 24 hours a day.
